  1. Classic Margarita

 

Ingredients:

2 oz tequila

1 oz orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or Triple Sec)

1 oz fresh lime juice

Salt to rim the glass

Lemon slice to garnish

 

Preparation:

  • Wet the rim of a glass with a lime slice and dip in salt to rim.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice with ice.
  • Shake well and strain into the prepared glass.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge and you’re done!

 

  1. Paloma

 

Ingredients:

2 oz tequila

1 oz fresh lime juice

4 oz grapefruit soda

Salt for rimming (optional)

Grapefruit wedge for garnish

 

Preparation:

  • If desired, rim a glass with salt.
  • Fill glass with ice and add tequila and lime juice.
  • Top off with grapefruit soda and stir gently.
  • Garnish with a grapefruit wedge and enjoy this refreshing drink.

Ingredients:

10 mint leaves

2 oz tequila

1 oz fresh lime juice

2 tbsp sugar

Sparkling water

Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish

 

Preparation:

  • In a glass, mix mint leaves, sugar, and lime juice until sugar dissolves.
  • Add tequila and mix well.
  • Fill glass with ice and top with sparkling water.
  • Garnish with lime slices and more mint leaves.

 

  1. Michelada

 

Ingredients:

1 beer (your favorite)

1 oz fresh lime juice

2-3 drops hot sauce (like Tabasco)

2-3 drops Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon slice and a bit of tajín for rimming glass

 

Preparation:

  • Frost the rim of a glass with lime and then salt or tajín.
  • In the glass, mix the lime juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  • Fill the glass with ice and slowly pour in the beer.
  • Stir gently and garnish with a lime slice.

 

  1. Tequila Sunrise

 

Ingredients:

2 oz tequila

3 oz orange juice

1/2 oz grenadine

Orange slice and cherry for garnish

 

Preparation:

  • In a tall glass, fill with ice and add the tequila and orange juice.
  • Slowly pour in the grenadine so it settles to the bottom.
  • Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.
